Our History

Where it all began

Calvary Chapel Eau Gallie began as a small beachside church known as Calvary Chapel Surfside, located in Satellite Beach. In the years leading up to 2020, and especially through the challenges of the pandemic, the Lord continued to grow our church family in both faith and number.

For over two years, we prayerfully searched for a permanent home. Then, in a way that could only be described as God’s provision, an unexpected opportunity arose.

In the heart of
the Eau Gallie Arts District

Highland Fellowship Church extended an extraordinary invitation: they offered not only their church building but the entire property, on one condition, that their congregation would join with ours. After we agreed to these terms, it took 52 days before we launched our first Sunday service together.
With that, we stepped into a new season. We moved from the beachside to our current home at 1591 Highland Avenue in Melbourne, Florida. Though no longer on the island, we remain the same close-knit, family-centered church—now rooted in the Eau Gallie community.

This new chapter also brought a new name: Calvary Chapel Eau Gallie. More than just a name change, it represents a fresh beginning and a renewed sense of purpose as we follow God’s leading in this riverside community.
